4-6 September | Arruda Collective (1.5 hours from Berlin)

The BiPOC Sangha Retreat is a self-organised retreat created by and for our local Berlin BiPOC Sangha in the tradition of Plum Village. Now in its second iteration, it offers an opportunity to deepen our practice and spend time together beyond our regular bi-weekly Sangha evenings.

Over the course of the weekend, we will practice mindfulness together through sitting and walking meditation, mindful eating, Dharma sharing, deep relaxation, and time in nature. The retreat is held collectively: we volunteer our time to facilitate sessions, prepare meals, clean shared spaces, and support one another throughout the weekend.

At its heart, this retreat is an experiment in collective care and practice. It creates space to slow down, cultivate presence, build relationships, and experience what it means to live and practice in community over several days. Children are warmly welcomed in this gathering.

Last year's retreat reminded us how powerful collective care can be. Together, we created a weekend that felt restful, soft, and nourishing through the many visible and invisible acts of care that made it possible. We carry that spirit forward into this year's gathering.

Whether you are new to the Sangha or have been practicing with us for some time, we warmly welcome you to join us. Reach out via the contact form if you are interested to join us for 2026’s edition!
