Where does Love reside in your body?
A guided meditation for reconnecting with the unconditional Love within.
There are moments when the world feels unbearably loud. When urgency, fear, grief or uncertainty pull us further away from ourselves.
This guided meditation is an invitation to return.
This meditation grew from a letter I wrote for an art exhibition exploring healing. As I wrote and shared it, I realised I wanted to transform its essence into an embodied practice that invites us to reconnect with the steady presence of Love. In my deep dive into unconditional Love, I found that it isn’t something outside ourselves, but rather is an inner guide through seasons of uncertainty, heartbreak and change.
Find a quiet place where you can soften, settle into your body, and press play.
The Letter
A practice that has kept me sane through the years is developing a relationship with Love, what you might think of as your higher self, inner wisdom, or our shared consciousness.
As life becomes increasingly chaotic and I feel control slipping from my hands, Love reminds me of what is true.
Love says,
let your heart break wide open. surrender into the tenderness, the sensitivity, the soft cushions of your heartspace. you've survived way worse, and you will survive this wave too.
unconditional love is possible, is present, is here. it feels like sinking into a bean bag, zipper down, belly out. a deep exhale. as you wiggle your body and allow the beans to shift around and accommodate your being, you learn to relax into the embrace. drop your head back, loosen the tension in your muscles. you are home.
unconditional love will not be found in others first, but in journeying deep within to tap into the ever-flowing source of life, to tap into Love. this is your birthright—alongside joy, pleasure, peace and deep satisfaction. we've forgotten what matters, pulled outwards into worlds of domination, urgency and scarcity.
recognise that these aren't the truths of the world, but stories we've inherited.
trace the roots of your desires. whose voices are shaping your wants and needs? as you listen closely to your body, you'll uncover your own truths. beneath the fears, insecurities and old stories lies something quieter.
imagine these stories as fallen leaves, returning to the earth because their season has passed. let them compost. allow new life to emerge.
in this moment, what do you need? gift that to yourself. you deserve it.
where does Love reside in your body?
place one hand there.
breathe into that knowing.
with every inhale, let Love spread through your body. with every exhale, let it ripple beyond you and into the world.
we become what we practice. choose Love, again and again.
I hope this practice offers you a place to land whenever life feels overwhelming.
If you'd like to explore this work more deeply, I also offer one-to-one somatic sessions, workshops and retreats rooted in the same intention: helping us come home to ourselves, one another, and the wisdom already held within our bodies.
